Brandon moved to Breckenridge, Colorado in 1996 to fulfill a South Texas native’s dream of hiking, snowboarding and bartending in the mountains. After a decade in the Rocky Mountains, Brandon relocated to Denver, reconnecting with chef Max Mackissock at The Squeaky Bean in Denver. It was there that he met acclaimed mixologist Sean Kenyon, who became an immediate mentor.
His time behind the bar alongside Kenyon helped pave the way for his next chapter, when he teamed up with Mario Nocifera and Alex Figura to open Lower48 Kitchen as Bar Manager. ”Brandon is the perfect fit for Lower48: he’s personable, has very high standards and is committed to hospitality on every level,” says Nocifera.
