Liza Weisstuch is a lifestyles journalist specializing in spirits, cocktails and food. She is the American Contributing Editor to the UK-based Whisky Magazine and a contributor to Whisky Advocate. She apprenticed at a distillery on Islay, a stint she calls her graduate studies. When she’s not writing about food and drink, she covers travel, design and fitness. Her work has appeared in The Boston Globe, The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, Imbibe Magazine and Fine Cooking.
