Parker was born and raised in Denver and considers himself a true Denverite. He was raised around food and inherited his palate from the matriarchs in his family. After a brief stint as a stage actor, Parker rediscovered his passion for cuisine and drink, and decided he wanted to make his career in restaurants.
Parker cut his teeth at Bistro Vendôme, and furthered his career and knowledge at such acclaimed restaurants as Brasserie Rouge, Rioja, Corridor44, and Colt & Gray. Through hard work, training and research, he honed his skills as a bartender, focusing on the history and development of craft wines, beers, and cocktails. Parker’s aspiration is to educate and excite anyone he comes across about the rich and entertaining stories behind the things we drink today.
Parker believes that spontaneity, exploration, and surprise are key elements to a truly inspiring dining experience. He is excited by all things potable, and encourages guests to engage in active dialogue and discussion about delicious things whenever possible.
