Ryan Layman

SONY DSCBorn here in the state of Colorado, Ryan Layman has worked in the restaurant industry for 18 years. His first job behind a bar was pouring beer at Rock Bottom Brewery on the 16th Street Mall. While finishing his fine art degree in sculpture & photography, Ryan moved behind the bar at 17th Avenue Grill in Denver’s Uptown neighborhood where he worked with his twin brother Randy for over five years. At the Avenue, Ryan nurtured his love for bartending, craft cocktails, and most importantly a love of service & taking great care of his guests. Ryan has been with the Steuben’s team since 2009, learning more everyday about service & the growing cocktail culture. It is his goal to push the Steuben’s beverage program to the forefront of Denver drinking culture.

2 oz Plymouth Sloe Gin

.75 oz Green Chartreuse

.75 oz Lemon Juice

3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters

Shake & strain over fresh ice. Top with a splash of soda water. Garnish with a lemon wheel & enjoy!
